Grief is something we all experience, but most of us were never taught how to deal with it. That’s why I offer Grief Recovery Method classes online—a step-by-step process designed to help you heal after loss. It’s honest, practical, and based on real experience.
Here are some common questions I get:
What is the Grief Recovery Method?
It’s an evidence-based program that helps people work through grief. It’s not therapy. It’s a structured process that gives you clear steps to take so you can begin healing from the pain of loss.
Who is this class for?
Anyone who has experienced a loss. That includes death, divorce, loss of health, moving, estrangement, miscarriage, pet loss, or anything else that left your heart feeling broken. If it mattered to you, it counts.
Do I have to talk about my feelings in front of others?
No. If you choose the one-on-one program, it’s just you and me. You share what you’re comfortable with, when you’re ready. In the group classes, no one is forced to speak, and the space is kept respectful and supportive.
How do the online classes work?
We meet once a week on Zoom for about an hour. I guide you through each step of the program. You’ll also do short readings and written exercises between sessions. All you need is a quiet space, a notebook, and internet access.
Is this class private and confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in class stays private. Whether you’re in a group or one-on-one session, your story is yours alone. Confidentiality is taken seriously.
Is this a religious or spiritual program?
No. The Grief Recovery Method is not religious or spiritual. This is a neutral space focused only on healing from loss. No beliefs or practices are required or included.
How much does it cost?
Prices vary depending on whether you choose a group class or individual support. I offer sliding scale and payment plans, and I’m always happy to talk with you about what’s possible. No one is turned away for financial reasons.
What if I’ve tried other things and they didn’t work?
Many people come to this program after trying therapy, support groups, or years of silence. This method is different. It gives you a path to follow and specific steps to take. Most people feel real change, even if nothing else helped before.
